aware that there is an alternative entrance
to our pool
area other than our main entrance
If you and yours are planning to visit the pool,it is requested that you use the entrance
on the side of the resident's parking lot by the Fitness Center.
 It is less trafficked than the main entrance and closer to the parking lot.

We love our pets, BUT...,
there are rules on  where they are
to "do their business."
Recently many homeowners have installed RING, and exterior cameras to deter intruders.
RING and those cameras are also displaying those residents walking their pets and allowing them to "do their business" on their neighbor's property.

Highlights of the Board Meeting
HIGHLIGHTS OF BOD MEETING THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2019
6:30 PM BALLROOM
 
Our HOA President, Joe Lipsky, thanked the community for their generous contributions to the Bahama Relief Fund.
 
The business office is diligently working on soliciting bids to rebuild the walking path.
 
A REMINDER that our Annual Members’ meeting will take place Thursday, December 5, 2019.
 
Filing of Rules, Regulations and other documents-Joe Lipsky requested the expertise of Harriet Glick, Henry Simms and Len Freeman, to compile all PASSED MOTIONS for 2018-2019. These motions will now be recorded with Palm Beach County. This was a tedious task and ongoing for many, many months. The HOA cannot THANK these residents enough for their diligence and dedication to our community.
 
Lawn Virus-Joe Lipsky announced that the LVN -Lethal Viral Necrosis lawn disease has already reared its ugly head at Avalon. Sheffield Agricultural will be on site to determine the number of pallets required to replace the St. Augustine sod affected by this virus. MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW.
 
A REMINDER to attend the TOWN HALL MEETING on Thursday, November 14, 2019 to discuss the PROPOSED COMCAST AGREEMENT IN DETAIL. The meeting will start 7:00 PM in the ballroom.
 
JUNGLE QUEEN TRIP DAY/EVENING-Submitted by our Social Committee-March 15, 2020 $75 PP- APPROVED.
 
IGUANABUSTERS-Have been invited back to Avalon for the next four months to continue to trap iguanas and raccoons. Motion PASSED.
 
HAPPY HOUR-Is now a sub- committee of the Social Committee. SEE YOU NOVEMBER 1. BYOB!
 
BAREFOOT POOLS We welcome back Barefoot as our vendor of choice. Barefoot will be on site Monday, Wednesday and Friday to maintain our three (3) fountains, SPA and pool. June -August, they will be on site Saturday’s also.
 
SAFETY & SECURITY-Proposed motion FAILED-It was requested that a permanent hump be installed on Avalon Parkway. It was agreed that a temporary traffic bump that we have on hand, 14”x 54” will be installed to slow the traffic.
 
CHRIS KINSEY LANDSCAPING-Proposals submitted by the Landscape Committee are on HOLD until the Landscape Chairperson, Sue Rosenberg discusses the install of perennials as opposed to annuals. MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW.
 
2020 BUDGET-APPROVED.  Copies of the budget are available in the business office.
